This week, Sharku and Gizmo join the crew as we make a BIG announcement and talk about Warcraft and other Blizzard games!

The Warcraft movie has been released internationally, but still 10 days away from it’s launch in the U.S. How do box office numbers, internet reviews and the crew’s opinions stack up to help viewers expectations? What will be the real teller of whether or not this movie is a success?

Overwatch is the Blizzard’s fastest selling console game (in the UK), which shouldn’t be any surprise. The guys will go behind the numbers a bit and talk about OW’s first competitive tournament along the way. What lies in store for Blizzard’s newest game?

Plus, Heroes of the Storm turns 1, Hearthstone tournaments go legit, your questions and more in this first installment of The Battlenet News!

John Horstmann and Sharku join the crew for this week’s show (mainly on Overwatch).

Overwatch went live this week, so the guys jump straight into the Battlenet News for stories surrounding the launch. The joys, the salt, and the community interest in this fantastic game have been incredible over the last few days, so the crew dives in to discuss many different aspects of Overwatch.

Since the last CtR, World of Warcraft’s next expansion has gone into beta development, allowing even more people to see what’s in store for Legion. While this episode doesn’t go into any depth on the gameplay, the guys are planning future shows as we head toward the August 30th launch.

One item did stick out this last week, as Ion “Watcher” Hazzikostas took to the forums in another Developer Watercooler discussion on PvP gear in Legion. Instead of resilience or PvP Power, the devs are making PvE gear and PvP gear THE SAME. How will this affect those who have chosen one aspect over the other, or does it even matter? Will this finally help WoW PvP stand on even footing with raiding?

Plus the Warcraft movie hype is real, Chromie lands in the Nexus, and Diablo 3 turns 4 and more!

This week, Pat and Dairies are joined by Tovo and Sharku to talk WoW and ALL THE GAMES.

Ion “Watcher” Hazzikostas, Lead Game Developer for World of Warcraft, talked with Jesse Cox on Twitch. In it, he announced that Legion alpha is over, and that the beta will begin this week! He also discussed questing, the leveling experience, Mythic+ dungeons and more. The crew takes a look at the interview and puts their own spins on how Legion is shaping up for the late August release.

Plus, Overwatch beta ends, StarCraft 2’s patch 3.3 is coming soon with some new features, Heroes of the Storm will revamp ranked play, and a whole lot more in this jam packed show!

This week, Pat and Dairies are joined by Gizmo and Mick for a ton of Blizzard talk!

We’ve got a glimpse into how flying will be rolled out for Legion, so let the salt start… flying! Blizzard released Part One of the achievements needed to take to the skies of The Broken Isles, and they include completing all story quests and exploring every part of the new continent. Are there concerns amongst the players, and how have the developers responded?

Overwatch open beta starts this week, with early entry for pre-orders already underway. We’ll get the insight from both new and veteran players to see how this game is shaping up before the official release on May 24th!

Heroes of the Storm will allow coaches in comms for the Summer Championship. How will this change the game, and is this the right timing for a move like this?

Plus, Diablo Season 6, a DARGON will land in the Nexus, Blizzcon tickets, the Warcraft movie and much more!

This week, John Horstmann from Well Met and The Payload podcasts (at http://blizzpro.com) joins the crew with Sharku. While technical difficulties messed with the last show, there is now a veritable smorgasbord of news to discuss!

Legion, the next expansion for World of Warcraft was announced to launch on August 30, 2016. Both cheers and salt can be heard from the community, and the guys discuss their own opinions on the matter.

J. Allen Brack took to the forums to discuss the shutting down of the Nostalrius legacy servers and mentioned the idea of “pristine servers” that would, in essence, remove bonus XP and other “easy buttons” while still playing the game in its current state. Is this enough to address what Nostalrius members were after? What can Blizzard do that would make sense for both the company and the community?

Hearthstone launched its new expansion “Whispers of the Old Gods” this week. The crew talks about the cards, the expansion and more as they try to figure out the new meta.

Plus, Blizzcon tickets sell out (as always), StaCraft 2 players arrested for game fixing, the Overwatch hype train is at full speed, Diablo Season 6 hits this week, Tracer lands in the Nexus and a lot more!

Gizmo and Sharku join the crew for this week’s show filled with all sorts of amazing Blizzard news!

Blizzcon 2016 has been announced, and will be held November 4-5 in the Anaheim Convention Center. The real question is, can they fit everything in in just two days?

Mythic+ dungeons are being tested for the next expansion of World of Warcraft. Keystones will be able to make these dungeons more difficult, even adding up to two different affixes to up the ante. If these work like the developers want, could these new dungeons put raiding in jeopardy, or will they simply bolster the ranks?

Plus, competitive play comes to Overwatch, Heroes of the Dorm recap, clarification on Legion’s Class Order Missions, and a whole lot more!

This week, Mick and Sharku join the CtR crew with tons of Blizzard news and updates.

Is beta coming soon and not soon™? The alpha contains almost all of the specs, and Icy-Veins is giving away beta keys to celebrate their 5 year anniversary this month. Could beta be available in the next few weeks, and what might that do for timing of Legion overall?

BattleNet Voice is coming to the launcher and is currently in alpha. Soon you’ll be able to text and voice chat with your friends and guildies across all of the Blizzard games. The guys talk about all of the features and how Blizzard needs to develop it further to make it a more meaningful experience for everyone.

Plus, HUGE patch notes from Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch, a new hero for Hearthstone (via World of Warcraft), Blizzcon rumors and a LOT more in this jam packed episode!
